Domestic PPI and CPI Rates for November 2025 Announced

Following the release of the November inflation data by TÜİK, the new rental increase rate applicable to residential and commercial leases has been determined.

Pursuant to Article 344 of the Turkish Code of Obligations, unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the rent may be increased provided that such increase does not exceed the rate of change in the twelve-month average CPI of the previous rental year.

According to the published data, the twelve-month average change in CPI (TÜFE) has been announced as 35.91%.

Accordingly, for tenants whose lease agreements are renewed in November 2025, the maximum permissible rent increase rate is 35.91%.

Rental increases to be applied in December 2025, January 2026, and the following months will be determined based on the new twelve-month average CPI figures published monthly by TÜİK.
